There are so many excellent places to enjoy a warm cup of coffee in one of the Hudson Valley's most charming towns. Beacon Bread Company concocts mind-blowing latte flavors, using manual-pull espresso shots as the base. Rotating house syrups range from familiar favorites to experimental surprises. With a motto like ‘Smile. Drink Coffee. Be Grateful. Love Life’ this tiny coffee house is spreading big positivity in Northern and Eastern Dutchess! Visit their roadside location in Rhinebeck, Tivoli or their most recent addition in Millrbook for delicious coffee classics. Their vanilla latte is a fan-favorite, as is their ultra-refeshing zoda (espresso soda).
For all those hardcore espresso aficionados out there, step into Trax Espresso Bar. This micro-batch artisan coffee roaster has one single goal in mind—to bring you the best coffee experience possible. Part of the Bank Square Coffeehouse family, visit them on the opposite end of Main Street near the Roundhouse!
For our on-the-go readers, Ready Coffee's original drive-thru spot serves up hand-crafted coffee fueled by small batch roasting. Their friendly staff always aims to brighten your day, fuel your hard work, or inspire you to do something great. With unique flavor combinations like the ‘Mac Daddy’ (chocolate macadamia nut latte) or the ‘Trail Mix’ (nutty raspberry mocha), this little location is sure to please! In September 2022, Ready Coffee launched their second Dutchess County location—and first walk-in coffee shop! One of Poughkeepsie’s most well-known coffee houses, Crafted Kup's flagship location is just a stones throw from Vassar College. Experience real hand-crafted espresso beverages and locally roasted organic coffees and teas—the perfect start or finish to your day! Crafted Kup also has a convenient location inside the Poughkeepsie Galleria and a gorgeous cafe and bakery at Eastdale Village, Dutchess County's booming live-work-play development. Few things are as delicious as their Cafe Miel, a blend of organic espresso, honey, cinnamon and velvety steamed milk. Caramel, brown sugar and vanilla play beautifully with their espresso in the RPG.

You may be thinking, isn’t this a candy shop? It sure is, but pair some sweets with a classic cup of coffee or their heavenly hot cocoa for the perfect treat. This must-stop spot in Rhinebeck is well-known for its affiliation with stars Paul Rudd, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton!
