It’s hard to describe Dutchess County without our artistic side shining through. Dance, drama, film and music - all have a home here. Whether at a large, nationally-renowned exhibition and performance space, or a more intimate venue, we never miss a chance to celebrate a creative endeavor.
Our stages host professional performances and summer residencies, Community Theater, and children's troupes. Performing art spaces run the gamut from the historic opera house atmosphere at the oldest theater in New York, to a bold architectural performance space designed by Frank Gehry.
