Staatsburgh State Historic Site is an incredible place to visit. There’s nothing like stepping inside the Mills Mansion and being blown away by the lavish décor and thought that went into each room. We can only imagine what it would have been like to be one of Mrs. Mills’ guests during that time period. Nowadays the mansion gives public tours, themed tours, hosts special events and children’s programs, and the gift shop touches upon each of these.
