Practicing yoga in the great outdoors can be an immensely tranquil experience—especially in the heart of New York’s Hudson Valley. However, Clover Brooke Farm in Hyde Park ups the relaxation factor even further with the soothing presence of their friendly llamas and alpacas. Sign up for a Llamaste Yoga class to learn the essentials of yoga, while taking in the beauty of the farm. Plus, every session includes the opportunity to handcraft a lavender loofah, another lovely self-care experience! Classes are select Fridays (5:30 p.m.) and Saturdays (1 p.m.) May through October.
Fishkill Farms is a prime Dutchess County destination. It offers pick-your-own produce in the summer and fall, along with a three-season Treasury Cider bar. In addition, Fishkill Farms hosts summer Saturday yoga sessions led by local studio Red Tail Power Yoga. Breathe in the fresh air on their western hillside, overlooking the orchards. Plus, select evening sessions on the wrap-around porch produce beautiful sunset views. It’s a magical experience! 2024 session dates and times TBA.
