Special Event at Staatsburgh this Summer
Save the date of Sunday, August 26, for “Women on a Wheel” when guest historian Kjirsten Gustavson discusses the impact of the bike on women's social status during the years before suffrage. Her talk is followed by a 30-minute bike ride and refreshments. Bring your bike! Reservations required. $5, $1/child, 10 am - 12 pm.
Before or after the tour, take the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful estate grounds around the mansion, including strolls along the Hudson River, walks on the woodland trails, or perhaps bring a picnic lunch.
