Hudson Valley Restaurant Week October 29 - November 11

Date Published: October 17, 2018

Time to make reservations!

Or, at least start planning which new restaurants you’d like to try or old favorites you’d like to revisit.  The Fall 2018 Hudson Valley Restaurant Week lineup is now live, with nearly 20+ participating restaurants from Dutchess County, as well as many additional restaurants throughout the Hudson River Valley.

This 2-week dining extravaganza, from October 29 – November 11, 2018, features three-course lunches or dinners and is all about promoting the chefs and food of the region. It is sponsored by the Valley Table magazine. The 3 course prix-fixe lunch is $22.95, with dinner set at $32.95. No tickets, passes or coupons are required.  Price excludes beverages, taxes and tip.  Reservations are strongly suggested.

To find out more about HV Restaurant Week and see a list of participating restaurants along with their special menus, go to https://www.valleytable.com/hvrw.

Several of the participating restaurants are within walking distance from Metro North Railroad stops in Beacon and Poughkeepsie.  As a matter of fact, Fall is a great time to take the train up to Dutchess County. Why not make a getaway out of it and unplug, unwind and feast? Work off those extra calories with an invigorating hike up Mt. Beacon, or a brisk walk across the Walkway of the Hudson in Poughkeepsie.  Explore DiaBeacon and the smaller art galleries along Main Street in Beacon, or visit the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt in Hyde Park, just north of Poughkeepsie. Taste the deliciousness of local microbrews at Hudson Valley Brewery or 2Way Brewery in Beacon, or Blue Collar Brewery or Kings Court Brewery in Poughkeepsie.  Let HV Restaurant Week be a good excuse to escape the city for a few days and see what makes us Distinctly Dutchess!
