Join Dutchess Tourism in celebrating all the honorees at the 9th annual Dutchess Tourism Awards of Distinction breakfast at The Henry A. Patricio Patino, Sotano Food & Wine: Seeing people’s faces when they’re enjoying the food we make here inspires me more than anything else! The love and appreciation that people can have for good food are why we do what we do.
Vinny Lamorte, Vinny’s Deli & Pasta: The connection I make with customers and the positive feedback I get. Especially customers who travel long distances to come to my store.
Patricio Patino, Sotano Food & Wine: It used to be a home, built in the mid-1700s, which gives it a warm and charming atmosphere, that you can almost feel at home in Sotano, all while enjoying quality service and thoughtfully prepared food made with the best ingredients. This is what makes dining at Sotano a unique experience.
Vinny Lamorte, Vinny’s Deli & Pasta: We offer a variety of specialty Italian foods, fresh handmade mozzarella, imported olives, pasta, oil and gourmet foods. I bring a little bit of Italy to Dutchess County. We were featured twice on the Food Network. Our customers, from the tri-state area and beyond, enjoy the deli experience.

Vinny Lamorte, Vinny’s Deli & Pasta: Dutchess County should highlight more unique family-owned businesses, local farms, restaurants, eateries, bookstores, music venues and more. We should highlight the beautiful landscape such as trails, parks and bodies of water that Dutchess County offers. We should boast about our higher education colleges and institutions.
