As the largest town park in New York State, Tymor Park & Forest boasts over 500 acres of scenic beauty. Once used as an iron mine during the American Revolution, it was re-purposed to operate as a thriving dairy farm until was donated to the Town of Union Vale for recreation and environmental conservation. PArk includes miles of trail, Fishkill Creek, the Tymor Equestrian Center, various sports fields, indoor halls, seasonal ice rinks, disc golf, and an outdoor pool. Special events and activities include Egg Hunts for All, Community Day, Oktoberfest, and Movie Nights.
