Experience Hudson Valley Victoriana at its best at the home of Margaret (Daisy) Suckley, cousin and confidante of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in Rhinecliff. Tour this Queen Ann-style mansion, with 1888 interiors designed by JB Tiffany and grounds designed by Calvert Vaux. Experience the mansion's recently restored second floor. With 40 beautiful acres, Wilderstein's grounds are open year-round and have extensive walking trails and Hudson River views. Wilderstein will be open for guided tours from May 4 through Oct. 29, 2023. Tours include the landscape, the history of the family, the exterior of the mansion, the first floor and the recently renovated second floor. Tours will operate on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tours begin at 12, 1, 2 and 3 p.m. and take about one hour. Reservations are not required.
