Discover a piece of history at the oldest residence in Rhinebeck which tells the story of Gen. Richard Montgomery and his wife Janet Livingston. He was the first American General of the Revolutionary War killed in 1775 at the Battle of Quebec. Open on Saturdays in June thru August (closed during Dutchess County Fair) and otherwise by appointment or for special programs.
