Dutchess Community College welcomes author, artivist and film illustrator Nikkolas Smith for a discussion and book signing in The James & Betty Hall Theatre. Smith has written and illustrated several children's picture books, including "The Artivist" (USA Today Best Seller); "The Golden Girls of Rio" (Nominated for an NAACP Image Award); "My Hair is Poofy and That's Okay;" and "World Cup Women." He's also the illustrator for No. 1 New York Times Bestseller "The 1619 Project: Born on the Water."
