Start your celebration of Americas Independence early at RevCon 2024!
Dutchess County kicks off its multi-year commemoration of Americas semiquincentennial with reenactors from the Brigade of the American Revolution on hand to demonstrate military camp life, tactics, weapons demo and to answer your questions about life in Revolutionary America. Examine Dutchess Countys role in the war at the accompanying history fair. Discover why so many residents remained loyal to King George III despite the regions strategic importance and significant contributions to the Patriots' war effort.
Pose for photos with Dutchess Tourism's "Commander in Cheers" and hear stories of Dutchess County's revolutionary heroics as told by a pint-sized, augmented reality version of George Washington also known as Tiny George.
Fun for all ages, this free event will be held rain or shine.
