This living-history event is open to the public and will present explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, heads of The Corps of Discovery.
The evening will showcase a catered affair, including a sumptuous four-course dinner inspired by the cuisine of Lewis and Clarks expedition. Cocktails and hors doeuvres will be served on the scenic riverside lawn prior to dinner. Actors Doug Thomas and Steve Edenbo, of the American Historical Theatre, will portray the honored guests. Diners will be invited to view the world of the early days of America and its expansion through the eyes of these remarkable men.
Meet two of this nations great explorers and hear their stories of how the United States, still in its infancy, began its exploration of new land and new opportunities. A conversation with Lewis and Clark is an opportunity like no other to understand how dangerous, yet important, their expedition and its contributions were to the newly-formed nation.
Prepaid reservations by May 9. Email info@mountgulian.org for details.
