Wild Edible Walk at Harlem Valley Homestead: Spring Superfoods

Join Sarah Lucas for a walk around the farm to learn about spring's offerings of wild, edible, detoxifying super foods as you awaken from the winter and move into the summer season. The walk will last about 90 minutes and focus on the magic of common plants in the local ecosystem. Sarah will show how to find, identify, and responsibly harvest wild edibles. The event will close with sampling the plants that have been foraged. Grounded in a philosophy of environmental and agricultural ethics, Sarah Lucas is a farmer at HVH, an educator, and a trained forager.

Rain or shine. Dress for the elements and wear closed-toed shoes. All ages welcome.
