Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue, a nonprofit equine sanctuary, dedicated to providing a safe haven for unwanted, abused or neglected horses, is thrilled to announce a special event in honor of Help a Horse Day.

Help a Horse Day is a nationwide initiative that encourages horse lovers and advocates to come together to raise awareness and support for equine welfare. The day raises awareness for the need of horse sanctuaries and rescues. The festivities will also feature a variety of local vendors from the local community and food by The Comfort Zone. Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue is home to a herd of 50 horses, including miniatures, drafts and retired racehorses, each with its own unique story.
