"Get Your Green On!" Earth Day Events in Millerton

Head to the Village of Millerton for a full day of Earth Day events at several different locations!

Beginning at noon on the Great Lawn at the Millerton Inn (53 Main Street), there will be a climate-smart tent, kids games and activities, a book sale hosted by the North East-Millerton Library, electric bike and vehicle displays, a village merchants raffle to benefit Rock Steady Farm in Millerton and so much more.

At the North East Community Center (51 South Center Street), join in the volunteer clean-up from 9 - 11 a.m., and enjoy a composting workshop from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Registration is required for the workshop; click here.

Stop by the special Earth Day Farmers Market from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the corner of Dutchess Avenue and Main Street.

The day's festivities will be capped by an evening of nature-inspired poetry by local students and a concert featuring blues, jazz, bluegrass and folk music by Natalia Zukerman and Melissa Ferrick at the Methodist Church (6 Dutchess Avenue and Main Street). Be sure to stop in at 52 Main for a special Earth Day cocktail.
