Whether you want to learn a new skill or create one-of-a-kind gift for a friend or family member, creating your own soap from scratch is an exciting new project. Soap making is part craft and part science. If you’re ready to begin your soap making journey but would like a little more "hands on" instruction, this beginner's class is just for you.

An experienced soap maker will walk you through the traditional cold process soap making method using natural ingredients right from your kitchen pantry. This hands-on workshop will review the benefits of using recipes with traditional plant oils (no palm oil), creating luscious and moisturizing soaps that are good for your skin. No more heavy detergent soaps that can cause skin irritation and lead to dry skin. Soaping kit materials included (soap mold, bowls, mixing tools, fragrance, oils, etc.)

All participants must be 16 years or older and registered to attend.
