Combine all the beauty and excitement of a fireworks display with the splendor and majesty of the Hudson River at night, and you have one unforgettable Independence Day celebration! Watch the City of Poughkeepsie’s annual fireworks show with an unobstructed view from the Walkway Over the Hudson. The Walkway will close to the public at 4:30 p.m. that day and reopen at 6:30 p.m. for those with valid tickets to the event. Both sides of the Walkway will serve as entrances. Space is limited.
