Dutchess County Historic Tavern Trail 2018 Rendezvous at Brinckerhoff House Historic Site

Explore the places where local cuisine and history meet in the heartland of the Mid-Hudson!

• July 20:  Summer Lawn Party - DC Historical Trail Brinckerhoff House

Join us at the East Fishkill Historical Society: Dutchess County's own min-Williamsburg, replete with a lovely green lawn and five historical buildings. These include the Brinckerhoff House (not the one formerly owned by Todd), an ice house, a school house, a blacksmith shop, and a carriage barn. All of these buildings will be open for you to visit.

In addition, we're confirming the following bonus features:

- Debuting Tavern Trail Trivia!
- A picnic-style dinner courtesy of East Fishkill Provisions and other local donors
- A blacksmith working at his forge
- baking demonstrations at the recently-completed outdoor bread oven
- A 1919 Touring Car
- Croquet

It will be a wonderful evening at one of southern Dutchess's premiere sites!
