1. Hudson Valley Restaurant Week

Monday, November 1- Sunday, November 14 at various locations throughout Dutchess

The bi-annual Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is here! From November 1 to the 14, taste the local cuisine at a discounted rate. With two-course pre-fixe lunches for $25.95 and Three-course pre-fixe dinners for $35.95, this is your chance to explore new spots, support your favorites, and celebrate the culinary scene in the Hudson Valley! 2. Beer Bourbon and Bacon Festival

Saturday, November 6, ar 12:00 p.m.  at Barton Orchard, Poughquag

Don’t miss Beer, Bourbon, and Bacon at Barton Orchards! Spend the day taking in the beauty of the farm, sampling beer and bourbon, and listening to live music happening all day. y. 3. Herb-Infused Candle Making Class at Clermont State Historic Site 

Saturday, November 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Clermont State Historic Site, Germantown 

Clermont State Historic Site has a rich history of Livingston family gatherings. Whether you’re planning on getting together with family for the holidays or you’re having an intimate celebration of your own, set the mood with the flor of all-natural candles! In this workshop, you’ll use dried herbs (grown at the par!) and beeswax to create aromatic and colorful homemade candles. 4. 49th Annual Train & Hobby Show

Sunday, November 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Majed J. Nesheiwat Convention Center, Poughkeepsie

This family-friendly show brings 20,000 square feet of operating layouts, Railroadiana, model exhibits, modular layouts, railroad clinics, dealer tables, modeling demonstrations, railroad movies, white elephant tables and refreshments on-premises. 5. The United States Air Force Heritage Band of America Concert

Friday, November 12 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Bardavon 1869 Opera House, Poughkeepsie

For nearly 80 years, the USAF Heritage of America Concert Band has entertained, educated and inspired millions across the East Coast. The Concert band is comprised of 45 professional Airmen who captivate audiences by telling the Air Force story and performing numerous renditions of great symphonic classics, marches, Broadway hits, jazz standards, movie music and patriotic favorites. In addition to performing standard repertoire, the Band is also a champion of new music, embodying the spirit of innovation that is inherent in today’s Air Force. Through the universal language of music, the band honors all who have nobly served in the United States Armed Forces past and present - both at home and around the world. 6. Christkindlmarkt, a German Holiday Market 

Friday, November 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to Saturday, November 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Germania of Poughkeepsie

Kick-off the holiday season at Germania of Poughkeepsie’s Christmas Market. Experience the traditional German Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas market), and enjoy delicious German food and authentic holiday treats. 7. The Wonderland of Lights

Thursday, November 25 - Sunday, December 26 | Sunday - Thursday: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday - Saturday: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Dutchess County Fairgrounds, Rhinebeck

8. Hudson Valley Art Market 

Friday, November 26 - Sunday, November 28 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Locust Grove, Poughkeepsie

This year the long-honored tradition of celebrating Thanksgiving with family and friends is alive and well in the Hudson Valley! Local artists Paola Bari and Lorna Thompson are excited to curate the annual Hudson Valley Art Market (HVArtMarket), bringing makers and merchants from throughout the Hudson Valley to Locust Grove from November 26 to 28. 9. A Gilded Age Christmas

Friday, November 26 - Friday, December 31 at Staatburgh State Historic Site, Staatsburg

Enjoy lavish turn-of-the-century style holiday decorations as you walk through Staatsurgh State Historic Site’s main floor. Tours are available Thursday through Sunday. Reservations required. For more information, click here

10. Live Music: Latin Night at Revel 32

Saturday, November 27 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Revel 32 Poughkeepsie 

Join Revel 32 for a night of Latin flavors and fun! Tito Puente Jr. pays tribute to his legendary father, Tito Puente with this show full of memories, dancing and music. Catch this live salsa and mambo event with a standing general admission ticket or VIP tickets for guaranteed floor seating.
