Huichica Music Festival Returns to the Hudson Valley on August 24-26, 2018

Don’t feel like traveling all the way to Palm Springs, Chicago or Tennessee for a summer music festival? We hear you! And that’s why we’re excited to tell you about the return of Huichica Music Festival right here in the Hudson Valley! The event celebrates food, wine, great music, friends, and a picturesque landscape for one of the most intimate fests we’ve ever heard of. Kicking off on Friday, August 24th and running straight the weekend, attendees are invited to camp on premises at Chaseholm Farm in Pine Plains and enjoy the full weekend experience. The lineup will feature the sounds of psychedelic surf rock, indie and folk, and food will be available from some amazing regional chefs. If you ask us, it sounds like a pretty awesome way to close out summer.

Huichica (pronounced wah-CHEE-ka) is presented by (((folkYEAH!))) and is part of a bi-coastal production – Huichica West and East – with West taking place in Sonoma and East here in Dutchess County. They are wonderful compliments to one another and we are thrilled for Dutchess to have been selected for the east coast location. Tickets are on sale now and available as 1- or 3-day passes, starting at $45. If you plan to camp, an additional camping pass will need to be purchased (starting at $20). Sales will end on Friday, August 24th so be sure to get your tickets ahead of time.

Each day of the festival will highlight different artists, including the Allah-Las, Bettye Lavette, Circles Around the Sun and so much more. The full lineup can be viewed here. The festival is one that can truly be enjoyed be all, so children are welcome to attend. Just please no pets. All the information you need to know about what to expect, what to bring, and not to bring can be found here.
