Happy almost Father's Day everyone! Did you know Father's Day has been celebrated for over 100 years? It did not become an official U.S. holiday until 1972, even though Mother's Day has been one since 1914. The Great American Father’s Day Picnic – Vanderbilt Mansion

This Father’s Day event takes place on Sunday, June 17 from 11:30am to 1:30pm. This is a traditional summer cookout with a twist – it is on the stunning grounds of the historic Vanderbilt Mansion. Bring your chairs and blankets to enjoy an old-fashioned picnic with catered food, lawn games, a gift for dad, and an extra special surprise for dessert.


Buffet style hamburgers, hotdogs, corn on the cob, coleslaw, and potato salad are on the menu for this event. There will be a picnic, rain or shine. This day is sure to be unforgettable… and delicious!

Greek Festival – Poughkeepsie
