Beer, Bourbon, and Bacon Returns with a New Date and Location
Beer, Bourbon, and Bacon. C’mon! Who doesn’t like that combination?! And you can have all three at this year’s Beer, Bourbon, and Bacon festival happening on Saturday, July 15th. The fest brings together some of the best vendors across the country, with an emphasis on local food, brews and distilleries. After last year’s success, this year’s event is moving to a new venue at Barton Orchards in Poughquag. The larger space will help to accommodate their expansion as they grow their bourbon section, and offer a brand new Bacon Sampling Passport.
The event will feature hundreds of different beers from near and far, including Otter Creek Brewing Co., Lost Coast Brewing, Westbrook Brewing Co., Sloop Brewing, Newburgh Brewing Co., Doc’s Draft Hard Ciders, and more! As well a number of highlighted distilleries from right here in New York State, like Albany Distilling Co., Catskill Distilling Co., KAS Spirits, Dutch’s Spirits, and Dennings Point Distillery among others. We can’t forget about the delicious scent of bacon that will be circulating through the orchards as some of our favorite vendors whip up some mouthwatering bites. Food will be available from Hudson Valley Sausage Company and Bacon Bar, Paul Smythe’s Twisted Chicken & Waffles, and Handsome Devil BBQ.
Aside from the food, there will be no lack of entertainment! Beer, Bourbon, and Bacon has selected an outstanding lineup of live music to keep everyone grooving all day long. Artists will include legendary guitarist Bobby Messano and the unique sound of the band Little Rock. The event will from 2-6pm, so grab a drink, nosh on some sizzling bacon, and plan on spending the whole afternoon.
If you’re looking for a fun-filled day out with friends, or an excuse to enjoy some time without the kids, the Beer, Bourbon, and Bacon festival is the perfect excuse, as you must be 21 and older to attend. Depending on what type of ticket you’re looking for, they will range from $35 to $100.
