Mid-Hudson Children's Museum

Hands-on exhibits and programs present science, technology, the arts, literacy, health and Hudson River heritage. For ages 0-6. Located on banks of the Hudson River and steps away from the historic Poughkeepsie train station, the Walkway Over the Hudson and many restaurants.

Sensory Hours invites families with sensory integration challenges to explore the museum and its exhibits in a modified environment with reduced sound, designated quiet spaces, extra visusal signage and sensory aids. Sensory Hours are offered on the second Sunday of each month from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Family free nights third Saturday of each month from 5-8 p.m.

Participates in the Blue Star Museum Program offering FREE ADMISSION to military personnel and their families Memorial Day through Memorial Day 2018. Also reciprocal membership with ACM and ASTC museums.
