Explore the early Quaker memorabilia and artifacts of life on the Hill. Located in Pawling, Akin Hall opened in 1881 as a library and community center for the Quaker Hill community. The first floor of Akin Hall functions as a library. The second floor is the Historical Society’s Quaker Hill Museum which features artifacts from the Oblong’s Quaker settlers which includes clothing, farming equipment, and ledgers. Tours are open by appointment and there is a donation request for admission.
