See new, exciting permanent museum exhibits telling the story of the Roosevelt presidency, from the Great Depression through the New Deal years and World War II, emphasizing Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt’s relationship with the American people. Special interactives, immersive audio-visual theaters, and rarely seen artifacts bring a New Deal to a New Generation.
New state-of-the-art exhibits tell of FDR's heroic struggle to regain his strength and political career after polio. Tactile exhibits enhance the experience for visitors with impaired vision. Special exhibit "The Art of War: American Poster Art 1941-1945." runs through December 31, 2018.
There is public transportation from the Poughkeepsie train station to Historic Hyde Park. On Sundays and holidays when public transit is not running, visitors can take the Roosevelt Ride shuttle.
