Mid Hudson Rowing Association (MHRA), founded in 1950, is a not-for-profit rowing club located in Poughkeepsie, NY. Its mission is to promote adult and scholastic rowing and to provide opportunities to enjoy the natural and scenic beauty of the Hudson River.

MHRA operates from the HRRA Community Boat House at 272 North Water Street, Poughkeepsie, NY.  Club boats include singles, doubles, fours, eights, and a quad.  Rowing is scheduled from May through October on weekday and weekend mornings and weekday evenings.  Learn to row, coxswain and coach training programs are offered starting in May.  Experienced scullers row daily in the early morning.

Members enjoy special events year round including potluck dinners and slideshows, the fall Mills Mansion row, the Moonlight row, and winter indoor tank sessions.  Monthly weekend boat house clean ups after rowing include a riverside pancake breakfast or potluck brunch.
