Fleet Feet Poughkeepsie's "Howl at the Moon" Night Run

Celebrate the first full moon of 2025 with a casual, untimed, fun run at Fleet Feet Poughkeepsie's "Howl at the Moon" untimed 5k run at The Shoppes at South Hills.

There is a suggested 5k route in the South Hills Mall parking lot, but the distance for this event is completely flexible. Those doing the 5k will complete about three laps around the parking lot, but participants can opt to do fewer (or more!) laps.

Night gear is required to participate in the run or walk. That includes a light to help you see where you are going (head, waist, or wrist) and something that flashes and will help identify you as a runner to drivers.

All participants will receive a long-sleeved hoodie with a glow-in-the-dark wolf pack design; a custom bib; a custom, handmade, glow-in-the-dark finisher's medal; and a delicious black-and-white cookie to enjoy after the run/walk.
