Lucy Stone, Leader in Women's Suffrage, Returns to New York!

Judith Kalaora, Founder and Artistic Director of History At Play, has garnered nationwide attention for her one-woman, living history performances, chronicling the lives of legendary women who changed society.  Her critically acclaimed performance in I Now Pronounce You…Lucy Stone was featured on WGBH (PBS) Forum and at historic sites such as the Old South Meeting House, where the legendary Boston Tea Party was launched. Now Lucy Stone returns to New York, where she had the pleasure to speak at the Women’s Rights Convention of 1853 and inspire Susan B. Anthony to join the Suffragists’ cause. History At Play retraces the path to suffrage.

Refreshments will be provided….Cash Bar available….Silent Auction, Raffle and more.                                                                                                                                 

Proceeds go to the “Madam Brett Homestead Roof Fund” to help preserve the oldest house in Dutchess County built in 1709.
