Dutchess Community College Performing Arts Programs Student Perform "Cabaret"

The Dutchess Community College Performing Arts Program and Masquers’ Guild Theatre Club present CABARET (1998 version) at the James and Betty Hall Theatre. Tickets available a half hour before show time. With the Emcee’s bawdy songs as wry commentary, CABARET explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Musical numbers include “Willkommen,” “Cabaret,” “Maybe This Time,” "Mein Herr," and more.

The production, under the direction of Fred Wolinsky, will be presented Friday-Sunday, Nov. 10-12, and Nov. 17-19.  Showtimes for Friday and Saturday shows are 8 p.m.; Sunday showtimes are 2 p.m.

The Nov. 12 performance will be sign-language interpreted for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. All performances will be held in the James and Betty Hall Theatre on DCC’s main Poughkeepsie campus.

Tickets will be available at the door 30 minutes before each performance.
