240th Military Police Battalion Organizational Day In Front of the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt

(rain or shine) in front of the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt.

The Living History group 240th Military Police Battalion will be recreating Organizational Day, an event that took place in 1943 and 1944 by the men of the 240th MP Battalion. (The Battalion that was assigned to Hyde Park during the war to protect the President).

The public is invited to participate with us in baseball games, sack races, obstacle course, tug of war and egg/spoon races. Period items and vehicles will be on display as well as the living history group on hand to explain what the job of the 240th MP was at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Estate.

Refreshments will be served during the event.
