Cary Institute in Millbrook Presents Monarch Butterflies: Coevolution, Cultural History, and Conservation

Join Cary Institute for a presentation by Anurag Agrawal, James Perkins Endowed Chair in Environmental Studies at Cornell University.

Agrawal will talk about his new book Monarchs and Milkweed, winner of the 2017 National Outdoor Book Award. His research melds questions on the ecology and evolution of wild plants and their insect pests – including community interactions, chemical ecology, coevolution, and the entire monarch lifecycle.

A Q&A will follow.

The event will be held in the Cary Institute auditorium. The event is free, registration is required; seating is first come, first served.
