The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum and the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site present an afternoon of programs with the Dineh Tah’ Navajo Cultural Program in the Henry A. Wallace Center. Shawn Price, the Tradition Keeper and Director of the Dineh Tah’ Navajo Dancers, will deliver a presentation entitled "FDR and the Native New Deal" at 3 p.m. Then at 6 p.m., the Dineh Tah’ Navajo Dancers will perform a traditional dance. Separate registration is required for each event; click here for details.

The Dineh Tah’ Navajo Dancers are the performing ambassadors of the Great Navajo Nation and are visiting as part of a national tour. The tour is in recognition of the 155th anniversary of the signing of the treaty that established the Navajo Nation State. The treaty was signed by President Andrew Johnson on Aug. 12, 1868.
