A donkey farm is a perfect place to make a lifelong friend, as donkeys live for a long time! Even an hour every few months can be the fresh air you need with one of Clover Brooke's miniature Mediterranean companions, and children cannot wait to brush behind their ears and live out a fantastic adventure as they hike through scenic trails and green pastures.

Why You Should Walk a Donkey: Donkey walks can decrease cortisol levels (a stress hormone) and lower blood pressure. Donkey walks can also boost your mood by providing a personal, quiet space for you to think and talk. Clover Brooke's donkeys are excellent listeners with those big ears and are too polite to talk or "bray" back. They have loads of endurance and are excellent at keeping a steady pace at your side as you trek through Clover Brooke's gentle pastures, sheep paddocks and bass pond with a scenic view.

Benefits of Donkey Walking: For adults, talking about anxieties, moods, or your life with one of our donkeys can help increase your confidence and give you an almost therapeutic sense of relief once you get something off your chest or mind.

For children, donkey walks are something unique and special. Clover Brooke's donkey farm combines the beauty of a natural landscape with the familiarity of walking a vast, hoofed, big-eared dog. It can be a great weekend escape for children and gives them a story to tell when they return to school the next day.

It can also be a great lesson in patience. Although the donkey farm has many gentle characters, sometimes a donkey can be stubborn. As a result, it teaches children to be patient and learn about animal behaviors and social situations through observation.

How it Works: Your visit to Clover Brooke's donkey farm begins with a brief tour of our farm and an introduction to the smaller friends, namely the goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas and overly friendly barn cats. Afterward, you will stroll through the pastures at a slow and steady donkey pace while enjoying the amazing sights and sounds of a varied ecosystem of the farm. Finally, you will meet the stars of the donkey walks: the donkeys!

These noble steeds of adorableness will be delighted to see you. Once you begin your donkey walk, you have an hour to relax, enjoy and breathe the crisp, fresh air alongside your faithful steed. Before you leave, it is guaranteed that you will receive a loving remembrance of your new friend, so you can brag to everyone how amazing it was to journey through the pastures with a stalwart steed.
