Fall Dance Festival at Kaatsbaan Cultural Park

Kaatsbaan’s Fall Dance Festival will be held over three weeks and will include several programs presented both outdoors across its scenic 153 acres overlooking the Hudson as well as in its indoor theater. The annual gala dinner is set for Sept. 16 and will feature world-famous chef Francis Mallmann. Kaatsbaan celebrates composer and pianist Philip Glass’ 85th birthday (Sept. 17-18) with Etudes at Kaatsbaan. Enjoy new works by Lucinda Childs, Chanon Judson, Justin Peck, Leonardo Sandoval, Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber with pianists Timo Andres, Anton Batagov, Conor Hanick, Noe Kains and Maki Namekawa as they perform and interpret the composer’s work. Other performances will feature the Trisha Brown Dance Company, Dorrance Dance and the Mark Morris Dance Group (Sept. 24-25) and a concert with Australian singer/songwriter Ry X (Sept. 30).
