Dutchess Pride Center PKGO Pride Parade and Festival

Celebrate Pride month in Dutchess and join the PKGO Pride Parade and Festival! The parade will meet up at 11 a.m. on Market Street in Poughkeepsie in front of the Bardavon Theater and will start marching toward Waryas Park at noon. The festival will run from noon to 5 p.m. at Waryas Park. There will be local queer-owned businesses, food vendors, and activities for children and families. DJ Dolce will be spinning the tunes to keep the crowd dancing the whole afternoon! The Dutchess County Pride Center is a safe place for members of the LGBTQ+ community, including youth, young adults, their families and allies, to feel comfortable and free to express themselves. The goal is to support, educate and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, including LGBTQ+ youth and their families, through outreach, support groups and social events.
