Lecture- From Scripture to Seance: The History of Halloween in the Livingston Family at Clermont State Historic Site

Join Clermont Historic Interpreter Molly Feibel as she looks at how the Livingstons would’ve celebrated this beloved fall holiday. From when the First Lord came to America in the 1670s and Halloween was really more of a religious observance to the early 20th Century when seances and parties were all the rage, we will be exploring what the Livingston could be found doing on October 31st.
