VIRTUAL: Concert ~ "Live! From the Stissing Center!" Livestreaming Chamber Music Summer Series

The Stissing Center is proud to present the fourth entry in their series, LIVE! from The Stissing Center!: a streamed, pre-recorded concert on their website and facebook page. 

This performance will feature Violinist Miranda Cuckson will be accompanied on piano by Ryan MacEvoy McCullough.The program includes “L’Aurore”, solo violin sonata by Belgian violinist and composer Eugène Ysaÿe, and two movements from “Four Lauds for Solo Violin” by the iconic American composer Elliot Carter, one dedicated to composer Aaron Copland and one to Miranda’s mentor, renowned violinist and founding member of the Juilliard Quartet Robert Mann on the occasion of his 80th birthday. She will then be joined by pianist Ryan MacEvoy McCullough in “Fiddle-Doodle-Ad” by Ross Lee Finney – a masterpiece filled with American folk tunes written at the end of World War 2.
