Outdoor Lecture at Clermont State Historic Site

Join one of Clermont’s Historic Interpreters, Molly Feibel for a “A Tyrant with whom he will never be reconciled: The Livingstons and Their Community in the Revolutionary War" walk and talk on Clermont’s grounds. This lecture will that discuss the important role Clermont and the Livingston family played during the American Revolution which culminated in the British army assault on Clermont in 1777. Hear the stories of the Livingston family and other residents of Clermont including enslaved people and local Palatine tenants and free holders. Comfortable shoes are suggested. There is no charge to attend the program, but registration is required. Please register here.
