Mid-Hudson Adirondack Mountain Club Hosts Paddle the Hudson River from Quiet Cove Park

11 miles. 

Paddle the Hudson River from Quiet Cove River Front Park to our lunch spot at Vanderbilt’s Bard Rock. We’ll launch at 9:30AM! 

Quiet Cove River Front Park is on Rt 9 between Marist College and The Culinary Institute of America. Follow the entrance road under the railroad tracks, park on the left to unload. The launch is north along the fence to the small cove.  **PFD must be worn! Participants must have a kayak 13.5 foot or longer with 2 bulkheads or flotation bags in bow and stern.  Bring lunch, snacks and water. Rain Cancels. Confirm with leader.
