NEW Taste NY Market on Taconic State Parkway
Dutchess County has so many delicious tastes to show-off, and now the Taste NY Market on the Taconic State Parkway showcases them all. This brand new store features products from 15 local farms on a rotating basis. There is fresh produce and meats along with other products such as honey, maple syrup, ice cream, soaps and wool blankets. Governor Andrew Cuomo was recently spotted buying a jar of locally-made marinara sauce.
The store is located in the restored Todd Hill rest area, just south of the Route 55 exit off the parkway. About 18,000 cars travel the Taconic State Parkway every day, and this is sure to become a popular place to stop!
If you are going to visit Dutchess County, the culinary cuisine and local farms are things you’ll want to experience. This store is a great way to combine both!
